Dental implants are changing the way people live. They are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved. Once your dental implant treatment is complete, you will be able to eat and smile like you did with your natural teeth.
Call Dr. Neal to schedule an appointment to see if you are a candidate for dental implants. Dr. Neal provides dental implants to North Seattle and surrounding areas.
For most patients, the placement of dental implants involves several steps. The entire process generally takes 4-6 months, but the amazing result can last a lifetime.

Wisdom teeth are the last teeth to erupt within the mouth. The extraction of wisdom teeth is necessary when they are prevented from properly erupting. Impacted teeth can take many positions in the bone as they attempt to find a pathway that will allow them to successfully erupt.
These poorly positioned impacted teeth can cause many problems. When they are partially erupted, the opening around the teeth allows bacteria to grow and will eventually cause an infection. The result: swelling, stiffness, pain, and illness. The pressure from the erupting wisdom teeth may move other teeth and disrupt the orthodontic or natural alignment of teeth.
Removal of the impacted wisdom teeth usually resolves common problems. Early removal is recommended to avoid such future problems and to decrease the surgical risk involved with the procedure. Studies have shown that early evaluation and treatment result in a superior outcome for the patient.
To provide you with a better understanding of orthognathic surgery, we have provided the following multimedia presentation. Many common questions pertaining to orthognathic surgery are discussed.

Orthognathic surgery is needed when jaws fail to align properly. This procedure is done in conjunction with orthodontics. After braces have straightened the teeth, jaw surgery then corrects the misaligned jaw.
A comprehensive examination is performed and diagnostic records are gathered using state-of-the-art imaging techniques. Drs. Neal and Leonard can then formulate a personal treatment plan for you, and can show you exactly how your surgery will be approached. We can illustrate how your bite and overall appearance will be improved.
At Neal Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, you’ll have the added benefit of having Drs. Neal and Leonard working together as a team on all orthognathic surgery cases.
